For today’s TDC, 3 things that made me happy this week. Walking around my city and seeing this banner, drinking butterfly pea flower tea (which is deep blue and goes purple when lemon is added), and my lovely Lacey cat. for Today’s TDC, What does the word GUMPTION look like to you? Show us in a picture or poem. I immediately thought of our little cat, Cagney, who is a huge tiger in her own mind’s eye. Here she is on the roof of our house. Cat on a not tin roof flickr photo by NomadWarMachine shared under a Creative Commons (BY-NC-SA 2.0) license

We’re spending a few days at the cottage at Ross Priory this week, working in beautiful surroundings. So for today’s TDC here’s a pic I took yesterday afternoon while reading and watching the wildlife. I admit, I asked ChatGPT to help me with today’s TDC. I asked it to give me ideas for “two nonsensical but logical sets” to use for a Venn Diagram and then refined it to ask for one with “funny overlaps”. I then asked it to draw the result. Here’s what it gave me: Terrible but funny Venn Diagram flickr photo by NomadWarMachine shared under a Creative Commons (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license

For today’s TDC – my quick go to food. A tin of beans (butter beans here, I often use cannellini), an onion, a few cloves of garlic and half a carton of chopped tomatoes. Add smoked paprika and thyme and there it is – can be made in the time it takes to make toast. 337 Beans on Toast flickr photo by NomadWarMachine shared under a Creative Commons (BY-NC-SA 2.0) license
