    Apple’s iPhone Mirroring is great, but we really need the inverse: a native way to mirror and control macOS from iOS.Remotely controlling a Mac has always been needlessly cumbersome, and with the rise of agentic AI tools running for hours in the background on Mac Minis we need a seamless workflow. Notifications pushed from your Mac which you can either dismiss or instantly tunnel in and control the machine.The tech is already there: adapt the VisionOS stack used for Mac Virtual Display.

    Maximal configurability shouldn’t be a tool’s goal, it should be an option for when it’s actually necessary. Designing an ergonomic tool is fundamentally about having good defaults, while still allowing escape hatches where they’re possible/needed.

    This was always one of the most baffling changes to macOS. The bespoke, highly detailed icons were distinguished and gave the OS a premium feel compared to the tiny pixelated icons of Windows.
