  1. 📝 Blog Post: week reflection 001 - wk 29 - yr 2026

Weekly notes? Weekly reflections? Weekly notes usurp my mental space. An inability to articulate blog-posts have me ponder a way to break from hesitating behavior. My drafts grow, my confidence diminishes. Mental space overtaken by life itself. As I am unable to sit with the thoughts I wrote. Most would think of editing for a blog a waste of time — just post it! — you say; — who cares! — you think. But don’t err, it is how I analyze my thinking. First let it out, spread out scribbles on large…

Re: The most American thing about me is the coffee I told him I think of coffee the same way I think of beer. Is it the best tasting? No. Can it be bitter? Yes. But it's weak enough that you can drink several cups of them and get a nice buzz without overdoing it. I would never, for example, drink 5 shots of vodka, but I could easily drink 5 beers. This probably deserves a full reaction. But I am keeping it short due to children. The coffee in Puerto Rico was always MUCH stronger than American…

  3. 📚 Books: REVIEW: Vanishing World by Sayaka Murata

This was not what I expected. And I know to expect shocking from Murata. But I didn't knew how much sex was involved... got interesting, to the point I could not stop reading, mainly the evolution of the society. But that ending was a bit out of context... like... she broke? Everything was rationalization until the last few pages. In anycase, good book, weird, disgusting, but good and interesting. If you like weird books this is one of those.

  4. 📚 Books: LOG: Vanishing World by Sayaka Murata

Humans are evolving rapidly and our spirit and instincts are changing. There's no such thing as a perfect animal in this world, so a flawless instinct doesn't exist either. We're all animals in the process of evolving. Sa whether or not our instincts match the world is iust a coincidence, and we have no idea what will be considered right in the next instance.

  5. 📝 Blog Post: 30 Minutes

There is a trend called the “wall staring”. If you are unaware of this — blissfully so — it is Gen-Z meditation rediscovery — stubborn creatures they are. They set the clock and stare at a wall for 10 minutes. This act of doing nothing rests their brain. Something the Dutch have done for a long time and even have a verb for. It is good a thing. Other parts of the world call it meditation. “Meditation” however, carries much weight and expectation for the rebellious Gen-Z brain. Rebel as they do,…

Was going to write a nice post... but I have a migraine for 5 days now. Which usually gives me what you would call depression. I sat to write and could not think of anything nice to say. So I don't write. So I still complain here. Migraines are like a bit of dark cloud on my rainbow skies. Just have to wait for it to pass and I will be a ray of sunshine again. #migraine #healthThank you for following my feed! ♥ Leave a reply here.

No, grandmother: to know the future absolutely is to be trapped into that future absolutely. It collapses time. Present becomes future. I require more freedom than that.

A short story. It's been a while, but I wrote a short story. Written during a creative writing workshop in Dutch. Based on a visual card prompt. I tried my best at writing the English version, though the Dutch felt like it had more flow, it would have taken me ages to edit considering I am not by any means master of the language. But I loved the atmosphere of it, so I wanted to share it. Link here. #story #writingThank you for following my feed! ♥ Leave a reply here.

  10. 📝 Blog Post: As I Wish

As I write. As I type. As I adapt manifestation of expression. Minimalistic approach to words. Elegant simplicity. Poems hidden in lines; lines hidden in words. Games conjured by accidental voice in my head. Head full of narrators and whispers of collected memories. Ghosts of something deeper. Coherence lost a while ago. The machine took it away. I wonder on deserted landscapes searching truth hidden behind dunes. You seek oasis, I seek breath of life. That which gave birth to the object of…

Japanese UpdateStarted truly doing more input by setting up a whole NotebookLM with my learning data and a curriculum. The drill is amazing, though it does require a lot of focus which I do not have with kids. I think I will try again tonight, if the night allows, then I can continue that on kids days. Also, considering stopping with my premade Anki decks. I am at a point where I am getting words I actually do not encounter so much to solidify. Having started sentence mining from text is proving…

ADHD maybe?I started 18-20 hours fasting x4 a week since end of March. Like magic, seriously like magic, for the last 2 months, I have been able to keep my house spotless clean (where I would often go a month without even dusting corners). The clothes are no longer rolling on the floor. Whatever is left about on my cleaned areas I am able to put away without a second thought, almost automatic. My partner is impressed by the level of cleanness of the bathroom and the kitchen. Now in the last…

Though I am taking it slow, there is something about this writing that is so immersive. Once I start a sentence I cannot stop reading. Every word feels so beautifully crafted and thought of. It only makes me aspire to write just as well.

RE: Wear a helmet! In the Netherlands a lot of people are starting to wear them. But I mainly see the transition in parents. Our thoughts being:1. setting an example2. their heads are too fragile3. what will happen to them if something happens to usWhen I finally got my commuting bike, the first thought was of getting a helmet, for them, not for me. My worse fear is leaving them alone. Specially after reading how a simple windy day blew someone on the side and luckily was saved by a helmet. I…

  16. 📝 Blog Post: An Evolution Of Words

[!NOTE](This is a journey of experimentation with words.) Dialog Admired voices group, an invite is welcomed, there is empowerment in community. What is dialog?. I, who craves and engage in active acquisition of knowledge, consideration of meaning never weighted upon mind. At that moment, thought ignited, consideration and re-framing of what conversation in. Conversation and Dialog differ in meaning and purpose. Voices can agree and disagree but neither are what dialog is. Dialog, partly…

Words quiet. Pages empty. Pens full. Ride the Japanese wave — increasingly getting to the higher end of A2 — make art — soft watercolor strokes in sunny evenings. Dune Messiah reaching conclusion, aching to start the next — my favorite of all the Dune books. Less writing. Few attempts brought upon ache... might be Carpal Tunnel returned — most likely triggered by daughter's tantrums; she's 3.5 — the keyboard brings less satisfactions than pen and paper... A few scribbles here and there, but it…

I have a cold. I haven't had a cold in 6 months. I've been using my brain almost nonstop. Today I feel so bored because all I want to do is lay on the couch and watch mind-numbing TV... but at the same time... I am bored... I want to use my brain but my brain says 'no'. #life #healthThank you for following my feed! ♥ Leave a reply here.

I should try this!" — or so I thought.First paragraph already made me dizzy. You see, it is not the font... the font was fine, crisp, clear, easy to read... no. It was not the font. I actually picked it up because my eyes made out the words very fast. What publishers ignore is that is not the font.It was the big block of justify text with very little line spacing. This is not dyslexia friendly. The font is step…

  25. 📝 Blog Post: A Year of Japanese - Update

日本語へ勉強の近況 A year ago I reflected about why am I learning Japanese . The brain is a most wonderful thing. As of lately, a year later, the intensity of my dreams have been making it’s return — this is more to do with my toddler finally sleeping thorough the night than anything else — and with these dreams, attention to the inner workings my brain has been in correlation, increasing. With this increase, alongside the increase of my Japanese learning motivation, my dreams have begun to also reflect…
