Starting the birds I saw while in Japan for my honeymoon! I was so excited to do some birdwatching in Japan.

This year’s Make a Terrible Comic Day comic, something that’s been on my mind a lot lately. OOPS!
Back in 2006 I drew Sora on my very first version of Photoshop Elements with a tiny Wacom Graphire Tablet. And this ended up being something I’d come back to and redraw every few years. I hope you’ll enjoy this walk down memory lane with me 20 years after that first drawing! 2006 2013 2019

A comic from 2016 that I never actually posted. This was for an Alphyne zine back in the day but I don’t believe it ever actually came to fruition as happens with many zine projects. It’s always frustrating when I finish a full piece or comic for it too! Well, I got this comic out of it and I might as well post this decade old comic now. Better late than never! I do still love these two very much.

Rewatched The Mystery of Mamo again and had to draw this little freak!
I came across a post for a Lupin book teaching English words. I’m just so delighted anytime Lupin wears drag that I had to draw it! Of course now I cannot for the life of me find the post. I saved the original image back in 2021, so it might’ve been from Twitter. But trust me that there was a Lupin Let’s Learn English book and I saved the best image from it.

I got a comment recently from someone who’s not able to start comics because they can’t afford a tablet and I want to shout from the rooftops that you don’t need fancy gear to make a comic!!! Both Dead City and Gender Slices were completely traditional (aside from some grey tones in Dead City). I love traditional work. I love pens. I love ink. Go grab some paper, grab a pen, and get started on your comic!!!

I had such a good time looking up outfits for Aidan, I cannot wait to draw more! I’ve had Aidan for almost as long as I’ve been drawing and I’m so glad I finally landed on a story to include him in. You may have seen him around before.
