I started playing some Parasite Eve a couple weeks ago and one thing that’s stuck out to me is how it presents dialog. Parasite Eve displays text at the bottom of the screen like you would subtitles for film and television, or really any kind of voiced dialog. Ever since I got my first mechanical keyboard, I’ve been able to turn caps lock, one of the most useless functions on a keyboard, into something actually useful. Spent the last weekend in Seattle hanging out with friends. Had a wonderful time. I don’t get to do things like this very often and every time I do it’s such a restorative experience.
