Following clues to the origin of mankind, a team finds a structure on a distant moon, but they soon realize they are not alone. This is an Alien movie, but with a different kind of aliens. Going back to the whole “let’s explore this planet, what’s the worst it could happen” shtick, guess what? The worst happens. A nice action movie in the Alien universe, which has the only merit of introducing the character of David, masterfully played by Michael Fassbender. Also loved to see Noomi Rapace’s hoohah shots, as her character was pretty meh-ly written. There are some other characters, but ultimately, they are just cannon fodder.
