The crew of a colony ship, bound for a remote planet, discover an uncharted paradise with a threat beyond their imagination, and must attempt a harrowing escape. Following the pretty mess that was Prometheus, this movie is actually a proper Alien movie, with monster horror elements and cyberpunk and techpunk elements. All in all, it’s a solid entry in the Alien franchise, Michael Fassbender does an absolutely great work, and the rest of the cast feels less like cannon fodder, and more like unlucky fucks that happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
