My new (again) obsession these past few weeks has been all things Hobonichi, specifically the weeks planner (I got the April start, Japanese edition). I think I've watched every Hobonichi weeks set up/flip-through on YT there is. These vids are so relaxing to watch, and they make me want to emulate their perfect aesthetic, but my planner pages rarely look that neat. They're full of messy handwriting, and I'm still trying to figure out how and what I want to keep track of. Mainly health things (making sure not to be too obsessive about it bc of my health anxiety, it's easy to slip into worry mode), spending habits, appointments, light memory keeping, books/media lists. a few YT journaling channels i like Seaweed Kisses. Utilitarian-leaning, her layouts are not so rigid. Her voice and approach to journaling are v soothing. Moonlit Journal. Aesthetic and calming demeanour.
