World of Warcraft: Forever > a half-assed review

Azeroth, an untamed frontier begging to be explored. Step into World of Warcraft: Forever and quest through an iconic world reimagined with new and expanded zones, new gameplay enhancements, upgraded graphics, and more. Why did we decide to call it “Forever”? Because it takes forever to do any fucking thing in it. — WoW Game Director or something I never was a fan of the WoW Classic experience, mostly because I started to play late this game (in 2019) and never played the “original untainted vanilla” experience. Which is taking 25 minutes to finish a quest where you need to collect FOUR scorpion venom sacks. In the absence of rose-tinted glasses, I got bored fairly quickly, after about 40 quests and I understand what the 20 years of evolution in the gameplay brought to the game and why it’s so different. The nostalgia factor is a tricky thing, because unbeknownst to the player, they don’t long for the game that they played back in the day, but for the life they had back then. A life…
