Today is the first true chilly winter day; three degrees, feeling like zero. As much as I feel a helm is needed during rush hour, biking in the cold without warmth is painful. Instead, I wear my earmuffs; soft, foldable, adjustable, the colour of happiness. Because of them, I do not use my earbuds, they hurt me as the earmuffs press them to my ears. It was a musical commute. The birds, the wind, the bikers and pedestrians just waking up.
