I Am Not A Robot! 0 ▲ ScatterSplatter - Blog 22 hours ago · Tech · hide · 0 comments Amazon over the past couple of days has been making me click to confirm I am not a robot. As if that would do anything. I guess because I use an uncommon operating system and I open links in new tabs rather than having to click back and losing my spot Not ironically their crawler hits my website to train their AI I am sure. I am even logged into my account. No doubt it’s just away to punish me for using ad blockers and reducing their ability to track me all over the web. No company should be tracking anything I do when I am off of their website. The web has gone so horribly wrong in some ways and that is one example. In my perfect world every one of these sites would have to ask for permission to have the cookie. Each individual cookie and also have to publicly explain what each is used for. We know that will never happen voluntarily and there will not be a low in this country. Big companies pay for the government. Too many of the representative are old and have no clue whatsoever… No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
