Happy To See Rays Versus Brewers World Series

I am happy to see that this year’s World Series will be the Rays versus the Brewers. As one would expect I would sure prefer the Phillies to be in the finals, but they were ass this year and did not deserve it. Part of me still held out hope that it would wind up being the Phillies and the Rays. If things had gone that way we were going to put a serious effort in going to Florida. Baseball wasn’t the main reason for that trip though. The Brewers and the Rays played good baseball the entire year. Both of them led their respective leagues too. So often a team gets hot at the right time to make it when the ones that actually played better miss out. I am thrilled that the Dodgers are not in it. I do not like the way that they deferred so many contracts. Not one bit. I know it’s not technically against the rules, but I still think that it is shitty of them and is bad for baseball. If there is a loophole someone will eventually take advantage of it though. I will have to root for the Rays…
