Movies: Below (2026)

When a mysterious sea creature terrorizes a remote town, a fisherman must fight to protect his family, his community, and his way of life. Whoa. This mini-series is short, but will definitely take you places. Excellent writing and the filming locations in Newfoundland are breath-taking. There’s mystery, a bit of monster horror, some gore and a mini series that’s pretty unpredictable (although a bit implausible). But on the other hand, it’s fiction, so it’s okay. It’s not made to be a documentary, so it’s okay if the science is not perfect. Four popcorns though, because even if it’s pretty dumb, it’s also entertaining.
