I See A Red Tree

I see a red tree and I want it painted black. I couldn’t help but think of that song when I saw this tree across the softball field when we were at one of the granddaughters’ softball games. It was the first fall like day. It was mostly cloudy and breezy with the temperatures only in the upper 40s to lower 50s. A pretty big shock after being in the 80s yesterday and a lot of last week. There were a few periods of brief sun while we were over there and the first one I noticed this lone bright red tree The bright red tree was a very enjoyable change of pace from the typically dully colored trees we get here in this part of Lancaster County. The sun shining on it only made it stand out more. I knew I had to grab a picture of it to post on here and also for my own memories. I miss the brightly colored trees. Red Tree
