📝 Blog Post: Food Questions Challenge

This is my reply to Jame’s Food Questions Challenge🧑‍🍳 A good pause from writing my story (clarifying my lack of posts this months). I almost never use pictures on my posts, this time it is a must! All images are from google. What was your favourite food growing up? I was a very picky kid. As any picky kid, my diet consisted of white rice, chicken and pizza. But if I could recall a favourite meal I always rejoiced about was: “pollo guisado con arroz blanco y amarillitos”. In English: Puerto Rican chicken stew with white rice and fried sweet plantains. I would always shriek in joy when I came home from school, asked what we had for dinner and this was the answer. Second to this was “domplines con habichuelas guisadas”, in English: Arepas or Tortas with bean stew. credits[^1] credits [^3] What is your favourite food that is made locally?
