a brief reprieve

After that horrible, depressing start to the day, my partner convinced me to go ahead and go to the draft night I was so excited for. I'm happy I went, it was a good time, and it was nice to not think of anything but the good company and the fun games. There were originally only two of us that showed up, and we weren't sure what to do, but then my coworker who I'd invited thursday showed up, and one of the shop owners joined us, so we had 4 people, enough for a pick 2 draft! I first picked a Frostbite Pyromental, cause I'm a fervent lover of Ball Lightnings, and took a few more red and blue cards, until I said fuck it and started going mono red (with the one splash for my Pyromental)! I got a lot of really nice cards passed to me, including the new Enrakul (which I put in the deck for the love of the game, and of course never actually played xD), the Craterclaw Colossus (which didn't get playee, but probably should have over Emrakul), and the Echoverse Fulcrum!
