You can tell this isn’t going to plan since the admin isn’t touting this as an America first withdrawal of forces, to refocus on matters at home and leave things be abroad. They’re embarrassed about it. I don’t know how the actual military service folks feel about it — except I’m sure they’d rather not be in the path of a drone launched from a random truck on a nearby road.
