Most people are turning out to be absolute machines. They are fed just one program and one purpose for that program: to win the entire world. To keep chasing things. To win every race, no matter the cost they have to pay. When you are wired to think in only one direction—that you have to get that promotion, win that deal, buy that latest car, or own that house—you naturally eliminate a lot of good things from your life without even realising it. Nothing can be achieved without eliminating something else in return. There are no free lunches in the world. When you start thinking in one dimension, wired by that one program with a machine-like tendency, every person becomes a step to climb on; every conversation becomes information for you to decide whether to use or discard. The feelings don’t matter; only the outcome does. The person doesn’t matter; only their function does. There is no problem with that attitude. After all, everybody wants something out of life.
