26-09 FLAVOR OF THE MONTH: CARDAMOM

Part of my cookie series. This is for September. Read about the introduction and idea of this project in the inaugural post. Over the summer, I took a break from baking cookies because it was very hot. Our apartment doesn't have air conditioning and it didn't seem worth it to increase the heat in the building. That was the main reason. The second was because I already felt burnt out by the project. Baking cookies became a chore rather than a hobby. Well, I'm happy to report that the summer pause was needed because I feel inspired to continue this again, perhaps even into next year, as long as a take a break every now and then. Fall and winter are the perfect seasons for baking, after all. For September's flavor, I was inspired by ice cream we ate while in The Hague.
