📝 Blog Post: Week Reflection 009 Wk 37 Yr 2026

I write this with a sense of responsibility towards my blog. Having deadlines does force me to write more, meaning these reflections are a way to keep my writing muscle working and not lose momentum; it is not a lack of subject matter, but a lack of motivation, which I can only conquer by forcing myself to write. So, apologies if this one is messy. This past week has been the week of courage, as I already explained in my “The Courage to Write” entry. Having finished that short story reminded me that all I need to do is write, and make time for it, and edit and edit and edit, and… dare to have someone read what I write, for feedback. When I let my partner grab my phone to read the story — after he asked me what I was chatting about with the group — I did not stop him; part of me wanted him to read it, part of me dreaded the criticism.
