Elizabeth Holmes is in the news. In 2019 Alex Gibney released a documentary on what that company did and how it operated. It was called The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley. I watched it on HBO. I can remember the feeling of watching it. It made me angry. What follows is an adaptation of my tweets from the time, starting here. (Also, I need to add threading to my archived tweets) (In 2020) I’m finally watching the Theranos documentary. As a former clinician I find it incredibly upsetting. FIRST DO NO HARM. So upsetting to see that outcome. To engineers or scientists caught in workplaces where they are obliged to lie during the course of their jobs? DROP A DIME. BE A WHISTLEBLOWER.
