Officially: fins lost

The blue-with-white tips DaFin fins which I’ve had for several years are officially lost. I mentioned yesterday in Good News; Bad News that on a big wave both my fins came off. As is my habit, I returned to the same beach the day after to look and see if they’d washed up or been found. Alas, no. Someone did return a football and an umbrella under the main lifeguard tower And this hat was on a trashcan near the staircase I used And I found some beach toys I took in exchange for the fins the seaside took from me. And that’s my followup. I’ll be wearing a pair of Yucca fins next. I intend to document all the things I’ve lost at the beach. In brief: ‘ve lost two handplanes, a few fins–some of which I’ve gotten back, my phone several times (always gotten it back), etc. To go in the ocean is to risk! Onward!
