buying orchestra tickets

I received an email from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra that this year’s “Student Card” was “live.” I called the box office to see if I could quickly buy one to add to my already existing account. For the attendant, in their system, the student card was not yet listed as “live,” but I should be able to purchase it on the website. I navigated to the DSO website in my internet browser – and the site was under construction and down for all purchases. This was 3 days ago. Returning to the site today to check into the matter, I filled out the student card purchase form, pressed “Purchase,” and watched as nothing happened. Just ……. why?
