While physically the old retired guy body has been back for a day now, the sleep and dreams and wishing seems stuck. What I do enjoy about being back in Siem Reap is the daily walking. I’d never call it a routine. It is more like this playground where I can find the right slides and swings and there’s only me on any of it. Like today I will leave at the usual time and hope that the Khmer lady that cooks the fresh pastries has them ready so I can partake of the freshly made stuff she makes. It is on my way this morning to the coffee shop I had thought of this morning wanting to go visit. In truth it’s one of my favorites and perhaps the nicest place on this side of town to go for a sit and coffee and visiting my friend Sayva that manages the place in the mornings. Her English skills means we can just talk about whatever and that’s very nice for both of us I think.Maybe being back is not work.
