I Uninstalled NetNewsWire From My Phone 0 ▲ Sajal Choudhary 1 hour ago · Tech · hide · 0 comments I uninstalled NetNewsWire from my iPhone today. Last night, as I was dozing off, I had this feeling, this feeling that I've had many times in the past, that reading so much on the web may not be a good thing. Like I'm not getting the time to think, or read longer stuff - essays and books. This is not new of course. What is also not new is this want to write more, write more meaningful stuff. I keep uninstalling and installing IG, which is the one sticky, addictive social platform I'm on. Threads/Mastodon/Bluesky have never felt addictive to me. Which maybe the reason why Bluesky is adding so many video features to it's app. Anyway. This was about NetNewsWire, reading on the web in general, but reading via RSS in particular. I kept thinking what value it brought. Or was it just FOMO. And I thought what's the harm in testing this out.… No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
