VINYL WEDNESDAYS: TAKESHI'S CASHEW & MILKY CHANCE

What I listened to at the record store. Before I left for the record store today, I received some good news. I'll write about that tomorrow, so it won't overshadow this post. :) Outfit of the day. I started in the "T" section, hoping to run into another TV On the Radio album.* Instead, I picked up "Takeshi's Cashew," a band I'd never heard of but found the name amusing†. I saw the album last week and was curious. Since I knew nothing about them, I worried that I would hate the music, but hey, this is part of the experience! * I haven't been following them for years, so I was delighted that "Wolf Like Me" was the first song they played in the latest Spider-Man movie! What a coincidence.† Pretty sure it's a play on the Japanese gameshow, "Takeshi's Castle."It's only one disc, so I chose another single-disc album. I moved to the indie section and…
