Stepping away

Lately I’ve felt less than enthusiastic being present on the fediverse. I’ve always enjoyed just being there on the wonderful small mastodon instance I’m on. What seems to be flagging is my desire to see the content. I’ve muted some people I got tired of. Then I started scrolling past things. I figured out it’s really the whole thing. What I do now is have my blog cross posted to mastodon so when I write something it shows up there rather soon. I have liked doing this because it lets me share more writing. What I think now is that will stop. I will simply delete that connection.If you want to read my blog, there’s rss or just visiting. I have no real idea how long I’ll do this. I just kinda feel done and need a break. This blogpost will be the last one posted to mastodon. From here on out my start and finish is the blog. Perhaps that’s the way it should be. I also deleted my mastodon app. The intention is to not read there any longer until I feel ready to return.See you somewhere else.
