Society Meeting 22/08/2026

Andy shares a few photos from the games at the latest meeting. A very good turnout for this meeting with five games in progress. We open with a WW2 Operation Sealion game, using 28mm figures and Chain of Command rules put on by Alan K. Above we have the view from the German end of the table. The British helpfully make sure the Germans can read the minefield signs, A break in the cloud cover as a German section approaches the minefield. Have they noticed the signs? British regulars take position behind a hedge. The Local Defence Volunteers occupy some hasty defence positions. A couple of German tanks fall victim to the LDV’s improvised anti tank weapons, a Northover Projector and a Fougasse (one of the German players apparently noticed the oil drums under a hedge at the T junction, but didn’t mention it to his colleagues!).
