Beth Accomando interviewing Chuck Tingle Kelly got us tickets to see Chuck Tingle speak at KPBS San Diego Book Festival. It was a hot day and it was great to peruse the booths and the energy of the folks walking the USD campus was terrific. Aside: I got to tell Kelly (again) that my parents, when they were first dating, used to go to Mass at the Immaculata. It never made sense to me that they went to church, since for most of my life Mass was not something my Dad was interested in attending. It is a pretty church. Back in the 1960s you could drive through and park right in front. But really the reason for this post is because of the nice surprise I got hearing Chuck Tingle speak (in his pink mask reading “LOVE IS REAL”). Beth Accomando interviewed him. He was disarming, charming, funny, and thoughtful.
