Regarding MacStories

I’m not going to continue to moan about my immense disappointment in Macstories or Federico. This is the last time I’ll post about it. I promise. After this I’m done. It is what it is and as a fan if I’m honest with myself I’ve had problems with the sites direction and some of its stories for longer than I’d actually care to admit. Even before the AI pivot I was feeling a bit of a decline in what the site was about when it came to his posts. Do I really give a fuck about a story of “Here’s how I spent £300 on a capture card and £200 on a battery pack so I could use my iPad as a monitor for my switch whilst I Wait in my car for a few minutes”. Do I want to donate…money… to enable that? Or chopping the screen of a laptop to be a gimmick screen for a iPad with the story tagline “It all started because I Wanted a better keyboard for my Vision Pro”. Sure. The struggle is real.
