Quickie: Lost in Translation at the end

Back in October 2024, I wrote an article called “Lost in Translation” about how the language barrier can prevent us from discovering new things and experiencing other cultures and it has evolved into a small social project. During the 46 months that have passed since then, the article has been translated in twelve languages, and also twelve people decided to respond to the follow-up interviews. All in all, it’s been a super nice experience, although I’m partly sad because I had a few promises for some more translations and interviews, but they never amounted to something tangible. However, twelve of each seems a reasonable number and it still adds up to a good result. I’d call this experiment a great success and I want to thank once more to everyone that participated in one way or the other!
