Good Thunderstorm Yesterday

Yesterday it was getting progressively more humid as the day went on. The morning showers basically missed us, and the radar was not looking all that promising until later in the afternoon when a cluster of storms started to slowly strengthen out in, like, Adams County. When they got into York County, they really blew up. The one had strong rotation signatures in York County but wasn’t warned yet. I looked like they had significant building damage over there from an apparent tornado. They got a tornado warning as they were getting closer. We were never in the tornado warning here. That cell passed to our south. It seems like there is plenty of damage down in Columbia, though, and I have seen videos of a funnel cloud. We had some of the heaviest rain I can remember seeing. It was coming down in waves. I could hear wind roaring but didn’t see it, but the rain was so heavy you couldn’t see anything.
