Abracadabra

„Abrakadabra“ ist primär eine Zauberformel, die seit dem 3. Jahrhundert n. Chr. bekannt ist und traditionell zum Schutz vor Krankheit und Unglück diente, oft durch das Amulett einer sich reduzierenden Schriftform. Der genaue Ursprung des Wortes ist ungeklärt, aber eine populäre Theorie besagt, dass es sich von der aramäischen Phrase „abra kedabra“ (Ich erschaffe, während ich spreche) ableitet.
