It has been too long, again. There’s been life being lived, however. Update my “now” page. Photos below: 19 years old, just after surgery. The birthday was good and recovery is going well! A new book by Joe Wilkins which encompasses life in the Coast Range of Oregon, growing up in Montana, and thoughts surrounding his family. Lovely read, once again. Started this book and it is very good. 1888. George Eastman company put out the first point-and-shoot camera (of a sort). It was a box, and once you have taken all of the photos, you mail the whole box back to the company and they develop the film and then send you the photos. This new device radically began to change the ideas and concepts about privacy. I’m only about a third of the way in, but I am learning a lot. Would recommend. Played a game of Scrabble with Nora recently. Let’s just say she knows how to lay down the tiles. We had a big gathering of the UO Noon Running Group on Saturday. I’ve been with this crew since 2018.
