After seeing Spaghetti All’Assasina cooked on the dish podcast we decided to give it a go for dinner this weekend. It came out really well! Reasonably easy to use but not a dish you can just leave alone as you have to constantly ladle the water/tomato puree mix over as it cooks off over around 20 minutes. All the other bits were quite easy. You’re supposed to burn some of the pasta purposely which I didn’t really do on this attempt. I think it’d be easier with a non-stick pan as all we got was the sauce sticking to the pan but not the spaghetti. Anyway, it was still delicious. A spicy tomato richness with the breadcrumbs. I couldn’t find ‘njuda sausage but we replaced it with Chorizo. For my pescatarian wife she just had the breadcrumb without any meat. Think this one will be added to our family menus. Probably a bit more of a weekend indulgence than an in the week dish, but yeh, very delicious. Try it out!
