SHOW-AND-TELL: CARE PACKAGE

Let me show you what my sister sent me. As mentioned in yesterday's post, my sister sent me a package. There are only 3 new items. The rest are from my past! I thought I'd do a little show-and-tell, especially the items most sentimental to me. But first, the gifts: ❣ Pink banana with all-over black cat print. I LOVE IT. I'm definitely framing this or hanging it up somewhere. (I don't wear bandanas.) The bandana was for Boba. ❣ Shrimp soft toy. It's for Boba. So far, she doesn't seem interested. Turns out it's for me. ❣ Tan hat from Joshua Tree. It's for Daniel. He loves it and keeps saying he's now "a man from the desert." My treasuresWe'll go in chronological order. The years are a guesstimate. Family photo album It has seen better days. ~66 years old (1960s). This was the reason why the care package was sent in the first place. I asked my sister to mail me our paternal family's photo album so I can start archiving the photos for my project. I'll write more about it on that blog.…
