Iced Chai Recipe 0 ▲ ivytime 70 days ago · Food · hide · 0 comments peer review of this recipe beanleafcup.com/chai-tea-cold-brew ingredients used: random chai brand found in the grocery store 2 cup canning jars (not really sealed so other things should work as long as they're covered one way or another) milk (to taste) maple syrup (to taste) using a ratio of 1 cup of water per bag I filled up two mason jars with refrigerated filtered water I let it sit for a couple minutes so then I could bounce the bags gently so they'd sink nicely instead of floating on top and then put the lid on. very glad to see the lovely color already beginning to show Now I put it in the fridge overnight. As I have a poor sleep schedule I left it for over 12 hours, taste testing it the following day at 12:30 I wanted to make sure it hadn't settled so I shook it up well with the lid on before pouring out about a cup and then stirred in some milk and maple syrup to taste sadly I felt the tea and spices were a bit weak when I taste tested it on its own and it was even weaker… No comments yet.
