Red Daylily

Macro shot of a red yellow daylily (Hemerocallis) with ruffled petals in warm sunlight. By now, these photos of flowers against a dark background almost add up to a little series. Though that has less to do with intent than with the sunny weather. There isn't much to do in post: I just adjust the tone curve so that its right edge meets the first rise on the right without blowing out any colours. Then maybe a bit of vignetting and contrast, and that's about it.
