📝 Blog Post: Week Reflection 003 - Wk 31 - Yr 2026 - going offline

I am officially on vacations. Vacations will last until the day before my birthday — three weeks. On my birthday I go back to work. I look forward to going next week to our vakantiepark, letting children roam free. We go to the same one as last year because it fits our needs. This week’s reflection will be short as I try to minimize my digital and online time (I got carried away). I forgot to make actual notes since most of the week went on to finishing my task before leaving work. I did however made a plan, an offline plan. I wish to focus on reading. Reading a book from cover to cover. Grasping the words and meaning. Allowing immersion into another mind. Reason is that I am working on a self-study curriculum to learn about the History of Reading and the power it gives us as individuals and society. To read these books and genuinely learn from them, I need to learn how to read. I listened to How to Read a Book by Mortimer J. Adler audiobook on Monday. Made notes on what needs…
