There are people in your life who are miserable no matter what happens to them. Regardless of how their life unfolds, they will always find something to be upset about. This isn't about chronic complaining itself, though that's the only visible sign of it, it's what makes someone a chronic complainer underneath. Everybody goes through struggles in life. Some are internal, where you're wrestling with your own psychology, trying to understand yourself better, trying to correct behavioural quirks. Others are external, where the challenges stem from things outside your control. But the suffering itself is generated by how you react internally to external events. That suffering is therefore perpetual, because there will always be tension between external events and the internal lens that interprets them.
