My sister had said she wanted to walk to the old city neighborhood on Sunday morning, so we joined them. It was a really nice morning. Sunny and much less humid than yesterday. I have always loved history and stuff like that. When I was little, I really didn’t appreciate it because there was so much I just didn’t see. With age, I have learned to thoroughly enjoy it. The neat thing about walking over to this part of the city is that now I have very deep roots over here. I just wasn’t aware that we had those roots because no one had ever really told me. It’s neat to think that you could be walking the same streets as ancestors. This brought back memories. My parents drove over a cobblestone road going to Wills Eye Hospital when I was small. I used to love that. I know it was over in this area, but I am not sure if it was this road or others. It was a good memory! Cobble Stone Road We were able to go and see the Liberty Bell.
