Movies: Supergirl (2026)

Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, joins forces with an unlikely companion on an interstellar journey of vengeance and justice when an unexpected adversary strikes too close to home. This feels less than a superhero movie and more like a mashup of Star Wars and Guardians of the Galaxy, and I’m okay with that. It’s a simple sci-fi flick, looks good, and that’s about it. The cgi is nice, Jason Momoa is doing great playing himself, and it’s also a good coming-of-age story in a setup you don’t usually see. Four popcorns. To see all 12 photos, visit the article page.
