had a lovely weekend. we closed off guelaguetza where i was able to snap one of my favorite photos i have taken this year: it is a departure from my typical photography, but i was super happy with the framing and chaos of the moment. after the calenda, i went to a concert with a gringo brass band from san francisco, danced my shoes off and saw some old pal's. after the concert, at 3 am, i rode my motorcycle home into the mountains under the moonlight. i took my time as it was such a beautiful night. sunday, after a few hours of sleep, i went into the market to buy some veggies and bread. i returned home and made a lovely brunch of mussels in wine and butter. we ate and had some afternoon wine in the garden. we spent the evening watching a couple of campy horror films from peru and spain. i could barely keep my eyes open and ended up crashing just before 9. which is great, as i am well rested for a busy day at work. looking forward to a productive and fun week. depending on how they…
