The moon was pink as hell yesterday

I mean goddamn. It was highlighter pink. Almost unnaturally so. But still, it was also quite beautiful in a weird way. It was a full moon, too. At least it appeared so. I looked it up and it was apparently in its waxing gibbous phase. So almost full. And it was really big, too. I feel like it's been a while since I've seen the moon so close. I was looking at it and felt it looked like a completely different celestial object. There were thin clouds in front (from my perspective), giving the impression of horizontal strips and whorls similar to Jupiter. For a moment, I imagined what it'd be like if Earth had a little sibling of a planet. How cool would that be? Instead of rocketing towards the moon, we'd be setting up shop one Earth Numero Dos. Oh, man. Can you imagine? Coming and going by taking a week-long rocket flight for a vacation or to visit family. Or going to war with them.
