Midsummer studio report 2026

Hi friends,Just popping in to say I hope you're having a nice summer, and to share some of what I've been making recently. I'm still obsessed with crochet and making wearables. Specifically, I've been enjoying making clothing for particular experiences.I took a camping trip with friends from college and made matching granny stitch bandanas for all of the women. In an unexpected turn of events, I spent the 4th of July watching a banana ball game with 70,000 people. In order to increase my sense of enthusiasm, I created a last minute banana-themed crochet hat and restyled a thrifted top. I'm also working on a crochet moss-inspired shawl, for my evenings as a bog witch. Beyond that, I'm dreaming up an idea for a local meetup group called Indie Website Club. I have been primarily posting on my website while my social media lays dormant for about ten months now, and it has been so incredibly freeing. It doesn't feel like a chore, I'm actually inspired to post, and I'm able to share things…
