I love getting likes, shares, and all that. I also enjoy charting things. Thus, I charted some data from my fediverse instance that is also a blog. As well as being a bit of the fediverse, this account is also a single-user #WordPress blog. It receives ActivityPub likes, replies, and boosts, WebMentions, pingbacks, trackbacks, pings, and local comments. The data for the chart is updated once a day and does not show the current week. That’s to stop the last data point looking low and to stop me obsessing over my reaction count while still letting me view nicely formatted data. You can see the live chart on my blog. Today (8th July) it will look exactly the same. It will remain fairly similar until Monday morning. The chart uses Google Charts because I don’t like to reinvent the square wheel and I’m not that good at JavaScript to roll my own. Feel free to suggest open source libraries that can do this to a similar standard.
