chill night

Work was fine today, I finished Dune (it was alright) and moved on to another Redwall book because the other two books I wanted to start were still on hold. When I got off work I got it in my head that I wanted to make a shrimp and veggie stew, so I got some veggies from the store (habanero, red bell pepper, green onion, carrot, and zucchini. Also corn from home), a beef stew packet, and a bag of teeny frozen shrimp, and tried tossing it together and letting it simmer for an hour. I've never made a stew, and I probably still haven't, but it wasn't bad. Listening to Redwall just makes me want a million veggies. And doing all that while listening to the LRRmans Tech Showcase was very cozy. Now to get even more cozy in bed and get tomorrow over and done with so I can enjoy Wednesday!
