This is the third year when I’m participating, and if you didn’t read my previous years’ entries, you can check OCC24 – Party like it’s 2004, and also the OCC25 – Old Tech, Old Tricks articles. If you don’t know what the Old Computer Challenge is, we’re a bunch of dorks that refuse to let old hardware die or be forgotten and still use them ten, twenty, thirty years or even more after they were released. I’d like to send a personal greeting to Tekk (or at gopher://tekk.in) for taking over the OCC from now on! The theme for 2026 is Make Something, and after a short thought I decided that the best thing to do is make my own kids’ TV station! I played with the idea close to June 1st, when it’s Children’s Day in Romania (and some other places), but didn’t amount to something tangible. But now I have the time and the determination to make something work. So say “hello”…
