Movies: Ray (2004)

The story of the life and career of the legendary rhythm and blues musician Ray Charles, from his humble beginnings in the South, where he went blind at age seven, to his meteoric rise to stardom during the 1950s and 1960s. Yeah, probably the best biopic out there, on par with Walk the Line. Not much to say about this, other than it’s pretty much a mandatory watch for anyone. I remember when I saw it like 20 years ago, I had to rewind at the end because I didn’t realize the main actor was Jamie Foxx, he portrayed Ray Charles so well. Seven popcorns for a masterpiece.
