It's been a week. They started doing balcony repairs in my building, which involves heavy drilling of all the concrete slabs. Before starting the process, they told us to close all our windows and to remove all AC's from the windows. Well, the AC was so heavy (and professionally installed) that I didn't want to take it out. I had the bright idea to put garbage bags on the outside of the AC unit, thinking that they could just work around it and it would be sufficient. lol. Because of my stupidity, I now have toxic concrete dust allllll over my apartment. Over everything. It's a disaster zone. I've been calling numerous companies, getting quotes for post-construction cleanup. What a fucking nightmare. It's going to be at least 1500-2000. I just spent 4000 when Muskoka died. I'm so fucking stressed. It feels like every source of stability and comfort keeps getting ripped out from underneath me. I'm looking at HEPA filters and vacuums.
